To raise awareness of on-campus apartment style living at ilam village, we went where all 2nd year students go – online. We created a viral campaign called ‘fill-a-flat’ that asked students to recruit up to 30 friends to join their online flat. Each flat of four went into the draw to win a free flat for a year. We promoted the competition across campus with flyers, posters, radio and online ads. Uptake was huge, gaining significant exposure for the accommodation provider.
